Sneak Peek

I had the pleasure of meeting Valerie and James this morning at the location of their wedding aboard the "Eternity" Yacht in Newport Beach, CA. Along with their friends and family we were all given a tour of the boat! I was so inspired by the location I put together this clip.

Nothing beats the feeling after the Same Day Edit presentation at the Wedding Reception! I couldn't wait to show Ali and Ryan what I prepared for them. I was given their proposal video that was secretly videotaped and asked if I can somehow add that to the video montage. I was also given two songs that they really wanted to use for their Same Day Edit ("Yellow" by Jem and "Hands Down" by Dashboard Confessional). I love creative challenges! This is what I came up with!

The Kismet Cinema Experience

I thought it would be a cool idea to show our couples some "behind the scenes" photos and footage of our shoots from beginning to end.

• We usually start with the consultation. This is the exciting part where we meet our couples and come up with creative ideas and concepts for our films!

• The couples usually mail or bring along photos that we can use for the slideshow presentation.

• The next step is to schedule a date for the "Love Story Interview". We ask the soon to be bride and groom questions individually ie.) How did you meet?, Tell me about your childhood?, What you love about him/her?, etc. Then we edit the two pieces together, not to be seen until the day of the wedding!

• The next step is to film the "Pre-Wedding Slideshow" this is equivalent to an "Engagement Photo" session.Click on the link below to see the finished product!

• Now for the fun part! We take all of the footage and edit in preparation for the Wedding reception!

• The big day has arrived! Our crew gets together and films the special day, which leads to the moment of the "Kismet Cinema Same Day Edit"!

That's it! The excitement now begins on our end. We accumulate all of the footage from our cameras and we edit it onto a DVD as a memorable keepsake of your Wedding Day.
